What Pensieve is

Pensieve is your context layer — a company brain that the AI you already use can read.

Connect selected company sources and Pensieve maintains cited Pages about your people, projects, customers and decisions. Your AI reads this account to get oriented, follows the evidence for detail, and uses its own tools for live records and actions.

Your first run

Anyone can create a context. A new context starts on No plan and does no work until a trial or plan starts: book a call for a 30-day free trial, or choose a plan and pay upfront. The team starts the trial on that context after the call; creating it does not start the clock. See plans.

1. Create a context. A context is one map — pick the archetype that fits what you're mapping.
   • Organisation (the default) — your whole company.
   • Project — a single initiative, deal, or product.
   • Personal — your own work and relationships.
   • General — anything else you want to map.
2. Activate it. Billing opens after creation. Choose Book a call on the Trial card for the free trial, or choose a plan to pay upfront and start immediately. Once the team starts your trial, the card shows its end date. A website you named when creating the context is connected once the trial or plan starts.
3. Connect a source. Notion or Google Drive can bring in the documents that explain your people, projects, and processes. You pick what's in scope and save; the knowledge footprint settles from the canonical content as each source is read. See Connectors for what each source reads.
4. Follow the first build. Check progress on Data → Connectors. How it stays up to date explains when Pages become available and where to check individual sources.
5. Plug in your AI. Connect Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or your own agents to Pensieve over MCP. From then on, whenever your AI needs to understand your company, it reads the map first. Follow Setup & clients, then ask for a company briefing and check one of its citations.
