Drive is where the long-form material lives — the documents nobody pastes into a chat, the models nobody re-derives, the decks that explain a quarter. Every file is something a person deliberately made, so all four streams are mirrored.
What you choose
Authorise Pensieve against Drive and pick what's in scope — individual files, folders, your whole My Drive, or a shared drive. Folder selections are recursive; anything you don't grant stays invisible.
Each stream is separately selectable, so you can bring in documents without spreadsheets, or PDFs without presentations.
How each type is read
- Documents — Google Docs, Word files, plain text and Markdown, read as text.
- Spreadsheets — Google Sheets, Excel and CSV, read as tables you can query rather than flattened prose.
- Presentations — slide text plus descriptions of the visuals.
- PDFs — parsed to text.
What it can't see
- Folders you don't grant access to.
- Comments and revision history.
