Granola turns a meeting into a written summary, which makes it an unusually clean source: the distillation has already happened, and what's left is a deliberate artefact worth keeping.

What Pensieve reads

The AI summary only — never the transcript. A meeting's summary is the durable record of what was decided; the transcript is the raw material behind it, and Pensieve does not ingest it.

What you choose

Granola is folder-scoped: you choose which folders are in range. A note becomes visible to a shared team key by being filed into a shared folder, so for a team credential the folder selection is complete coverage rather than a partial view. A personal key additionally sees its owner's private folders.

Authentication

Granola connects with an API key rather than OAuth.

What it can't see

  • Folders you don't select.
  • Raw meeting transcripts.
